donnarkevic lives in Weston, West Virginia, and is a member of Barbour County Writers Workshop. He was born and raised in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in secondary education. He’s worked as a teacher, a steelworker, a teamster, a food service worker, and a laundry worker.
Publishing credits include poetry in The Birmingham Poetry Review, The Blue Collar Review, The Comstock Review, Grab-a-Nickel, Jewish Currents, The Potomac Review, Taproot Literary Review, and Witness. His poetry has also been included in the anthology, Wild Sweet Notes: 50 Years of West Virginia Poetry: 1950-1999. Short story credits include Evergreen Chronicles and Seedhouse. In 2002, the playwright’s drama, The Interview, won a grant from The Arch and Bruce Brown Foundation.
